Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) - The U.S. Department of Justice's Americans with Disabilities Act publications and other Federal agencies with ADA responsibilities.

Maryland Association of the Deaf (MDAD) - MDAD is a non-profit consumer advocacy organization which strives to promote the quality of life for deaf and hard of hearing individuals in Maryland. It is supported by membership dues and contributions.

National Association of the Deaf (NAD) - Promotes, protects, and preserves the rights and quality of life of deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals in the USA.

TDI - (also known as Telecommunications for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Inc.) is an active national advocacy organization focusing its energies and resources to address equal access issues in telecommunications and media for four constituencies in deafness and hearing loss, specifically people who are deaf, hard-of-hearing, late-deafened, or deaf-blind.
