Learn beginning American Sign Language starting February 24 through March 26, 2026 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm-8pm at DILA. Students will learn basic signs to carry on simple conversations with deaf individuals. Role playing and games designed to teach basic signs are used as tools. Students will also learn about Deaf Culture. By the end of the class, a sampling of the skills learned are the manual alphabet, numbers, introducing yourself and exchanging personal information. Cost is $150 per person by check or money order. Credit card payments are $156.
