Classes are taught by a deaf instructor. Students will continue to learn about Deaf Culture plus build on what was learn in ASL Level 1 which includes talking about family, discussing home and office plus much more. Role playing and games designed to teach basic signs are used as tools. We encourage students that passed Level 1 to continue to learn by taking the Level 2 class as the first level just covers the basics and there is much, much more to learn like any other language. Students must have passed Level 1 or have the permission of the instructor to register for Level 2.
ASL Level 2 Classes will be held April 21 – May 21, 2020 every Tuesday and Thursday from 6-8pm. Cost of class is $150 using the same textbook from Level 1. If you need the textbook cost is $225. All classes are held at Deaf Independent Living Association, 806 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, Maryland. Registration is limited to 20 people. Must be at least 13 years of age to take course.
