This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for https://www.dila.org/. This privacy notice applies to the Deaf Independent Living Association, Inc. DILA Web site and governs data collection and usage. By using the DILA Web site, you consent to the data practices described in this notice.
Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
DILA collects personally identifiable information, such as your email address, name, home or work address or telephone number. DILA also collects anonymous demographic information which is not unique to you such as your zip code.
There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is collected such as your IP address, browser type, domain names, access time and referring Web site addresses. DILA keeps track of the Web sites and pages our customers visit within DILA, in order to determine what services are most popular. This information is used by DILA to provide general statistics and maintain quality of service regarding DILA’s Web site.
We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. referral of request for resource information.
Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about agency updates, upcoming events, fundraising, important information relating to hearing loss, services, or changes to this privacy policy.
